North Vancouver Family Photography Session

Part of the joy of shooting families over multiple sessions is seeing the kids come out of their shell and really express their personalities. After having previously photographed this family in Whistler while they were on vacation, I got a chance to shoot them again in North Vancouver.

They wanted photographs taken in the Lynn Canyon Park near where they lived, as they often hiked as a family in the area. I was not able to scout out the specific area before hand but had been in the region many times before so I knew we would be able to find some great shots there.

As we were leaving one of the girls had picked up 2 sticks that i noticed had an interesting shape so I asked them to pose with them for the final shot as a surprise for Dad. What do you think?
